🛒 Ingredients

For the Ground Beef:

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 recommended)

  • ½ medium yellow onion, finely chopped

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for leaner beef)

  • 2 tsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp ground cumin

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp dried oregano

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • 1–2 tbsp Culture Hot Sauce’s Blindsided (adjust to taste)

  • ¼ cup tomato paste

  • ½ cup beef broth (or water)

For the Tacos:

  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas (warmed)

  • 1 cup shredded lettuce

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or cotija cheese

  • 1 cup diced tomatoes or pico de gallo

  • ½ cup sour cream or crema

  • ½ cup diced avocado or guacamole

  • Fresh cilantro (optional)

  • Lime wedges (for serving)

  • Extra Blindsided for drizzling

🔥 Instructions

1. Cook Aromatics

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil if using. Sauté chopped onion for 3–4 minutes until soft, then add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.

2. Brown the Beef

Add ground beef and cook until fully browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat if needed.

3. Season the Meat

Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat the beef in spices.

4. Add Flavor & Heat

Add tomato paste, broth, and Culture Hot Sauce’s Blindsided. Stir and simmer for 5–7 minutes, letting the mixture thicken and the flavors develop. Adjust the heat level to your taste with more hot sauce.

5. Build Your Tacos

Warm tortillas in a skillet or over a flame. Fill each one with a scoop of the beef mixture, then top with cheese, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and sour cream.

6. Garnish & Serve

Add fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lime. Don’t forget to drizzle extra Blindsided for a fiery finishing touch.

🌶️ Recipe Tips

  • For more smoke: Lightly char your tortillas over a gas burner or grill.

  • Cheese swap: Use crumbled cotija for a tangier finish, or Monterey Jack for meltiness.

  • Make it a party: Set up a DIY taco bar with all the toppings for easy entertaining.
