Spicy Guacamole

Spicy Guacamole

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 2 serrano peppers, finely chopped
  • 1/4 red or white onion, finely diced
  • 2 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 good lime
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 finger pinch of cumin
  • 3 finger pinch of ground Szechuan peppercorn
  • Optional: 1 small tomato, diced

Instructions:

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
  2. Mash the avocados with a fork until smooth or leave it a bit chunky, depending on your preference.
  3. Lightly toast cumin seeds and Szechuan peppercorn, grind.
  4. Add the chopped serrano peppers, red onion, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, and spices to the bowl. Mix well to combine.
  5. Season with salt to taste. If using, gently fold in the diced tomato.
  6. Serve immediately with tortilla chips, or as a topping for tacos, burgers, or grilled meats. Enjoy!
