Spicy Guacamole
Ingredients:
- 3 ripe avocados
- 2 serrano peppers, finely chopped
- 1/4 red or white onion, finely diced
- 2 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 1 good lime
- Salt to taste
- 3 finger pinch of cumin
- 3 finger pinch of ground Szechuan peppercorn
- Optional: 1 small tomato, diced
Instructions:
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
- Mash the avocados with a fork until smooth or leave it a bit chunky, depending on your preference.
- Lightly toast cumin seeds and Szechuan peppercorn, grind.
- Add the chopped serrano peppers, red onion, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, and spices to the bowl. Mix well to combine.
- Season with salt to taste. If using, gently fold in the diced tomato.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips, or as a topping for tacos, burgers, or grilled meats. Enjoy!
